This time with MyHeartFully, we’re talking about personal leadership, and personal leadership is really in the four dimensions, body, mind, soul, and spirit. Over the years as I was developing the MyHeartFully coaching model, one day I sat down with a doctor and I explained to her this whole dimensions of body, soul, mind, spirit. And she said, “You mean the holistic model”? And I said, “That’s exactly that, that’s a holistic model”.
The problem is, I don’t know how to solve this… do you? I need to understand how is it made, and so I started taking it apart, to get to the core of what this is about. And then I went, “Ah, there’s another part, and now I’ve got a problem”. But, the interesting thing is, if you look at four dimensions or in this case six dimensions… see that, look at that, a core, a six-dimensional core, and people say to solve this you need to understand the algorithm of how these six dimensions work.
And that’s exactly how we as humans are. We’ve got these dimensions, they are intricate, we don’t know how it works. So, these four dimensions as I said, can be horribly out of sync, and the moment things go wrong… Major trauma, major breakdown financially, major breakdown physically, divorce, you get fired at your work, Covid-19… All of a sudden your life is upset.
Now, if you don’t know the algorithm and the secrets of success to personal leadership and to personal development, you will be stuck. And so, if I’m trying to get this thing together blue by blue, and man, I haven’t got a clue how to do this and so basically, you need a roadmap, you need an algorithm, you need someone to help you.
But, wait a minute, I think I’m going to take a break and come back, and quickly learn how to solve this problem and I’ll show you how we do it. Now, look at that, magic. If you understand the algorithm of how to sort out your life, your mind, your body, your soul, your spirit… and bob’s your uncle.
As we conclude this short introduction on these four dimensions and the algorithm how to fix them… Bottom line, we have to make the right choices every day, we have to be able to change every day and over time as we work on this algorithm of our mind, body, soul, spirit, we can actually become better people, we can develop.
Winston Churchill actually said that, “To improve, is to change. To be perfect, is to change often“.
And as the sun starts setting here on this beautiful Monday afternoon, this is a wrap, and we look forward to the next session, where we’re going to focus purely on developing your leadership and your personal leadership on your body.
